It was a hilly route, five kilometers out from where I start just a short distance from home and another 5 kilometers back. Attempting to turn myself into a runner. Sunday, May 10, 2015. Last weekend I ran the Pittsburgh half marathon. Last year I ran it with Megan and because neither of us properly trained for race day it was not my fastest time. It was pretty miserable to tell the truth. Miserable because of training not a miserable race. I thought mom would get the entire Pittsburgh marathon in the photo, I thought wrong. Just like last year there was no real lines at the portapotties.

Sunday, May 15, 2016. The Grand Canyon Running Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim. Im not sure when I first learned about rim-to-rim-to-rim R2R2R, but as soon as I did, I knew that it was something I had to do. Why? The canyon slowing coming to life. Our first crossing of the Colorado River. Low hanging clouds cover the tops of the canyon. Looking back at the south rim far off in the distance.
